Those things are a bizarre phenomenon. Forget that they're eerily sensual -- have you ever been at a party when someone busts one of these out? I'm not sure if it's the passing around of a scalp-contacting-thus-scabies-spreading device or a bunch of relative strangers standing around luxuriating in sensual pleasures that skeeves me out more.
my brother and i were assaulted by an eastern european woman in a DC-area mall with one of those. she seemed to want us to buy one. the compulsory demonstration had me considering the same public health issues that russ raises.

Read Russ's "word" backwards to make it sound rude, kind of like that sofa king trick.

Are these things dangerous? I mean that picture looks like the lady is just a downstroke away from losing an eye!
Sure people lose an eye all the time, but it feels really good.
