or maybe a new-fangled balltrocution. though i thought the article said that cingular wireless wasn't actually going to be rebranded at&t wireless... there was just some confusing rhetoric about branding that made everyone think that's what was happening.
I just want to point out that I subconsciously predicted this by mercilessly (and klutzily, every time) beating the crap out of my Cingular phone over the past few months. My favorite manuever is the "fall out of shirt pocket while leaned over". It doesn't usually fall far, but it's so easy to do. If you're looking for a phone-destruction strategy, build around the shirt-pocket-fallout move.
