ok, myself, francis, and softwater are going to be at Severance for the 8pm show. we haven't worked out how early we're going to go, though i would say 7:40 at the latest. how does that work for you?

I fucking hate Regal Theater at Severance Town Centre.

severance leaves many things to be desired, but it's often uncrowded, even for popular movies.

and i think they do a (marginally) better job with projection and sound than loews at richmond, in which i will not see another movie. the last three movies i saw there all had both video and audio problems, with people at the information desk giving me canned bullshit about how it was "a problem with the reel".

the cinematheque shows movies on reels that would turn to dust if you sneezed on them without a problem.

king kong was freaking great. i'll go see it again.

Watching some of those Severance employees perform a box office or concession transaction makes me want to kick puppies.

Scratch that, watching _any_ of them does that. Even the managers.
