I swear to god! They made a set of those on Mythbusters last night (the Ninja myths episode).
Sacrilege. Jesus did it during a storm, and he was able to tell Peter to come on over and Peter could as well.
Unless Jesus miracled another set of water shoes to Peter before he walked out of the boat. Hmm. Being the son of God make for too many possibilities.
