It were really fun. The CGI was so good, I kept having to remind myself it was done with computers and really pretty amazing. The action was a solid 8 or 9. The cameos and sort of humorous setup is a 6, and the acting a 4 or 5. The story is probably a 4, and the constant exposition is like a 1. The one excuse you can make there is that it's worst stuff is probably pretty faithful to the original cartoons.
saw transformers this weekend. it was about what meets the eye, and fun. the robots looked cool. i felt some vertigo watching the transformation sequences, it was actually kind of intoxicating.
i could have done without the minstrel show that was Jazz, but watching Optimus Prime stab that guy in the face was pretty awesome.
Everything makes a little more sense when it's anchored.
