Everything makes a little more sense when it's anchored.

this was a popular debate on effing /. for years. i like:
1. star wars
2. empire strikes back
3. the saga begins by weird al
4. attack of the clones
5. the island of dr. moreau
6. return of the jedi
making for a satisfying story arc. also puts the big reveal of #2 in a sort of structural counterpoint to the big reveal of lucas as schlockmeister in #6.
1. Star Wars
2. Cocktail
3. Empire Strikes Back
4. The Bald Eagle Car Ad
5. Return of the Jedi
6. Revenge of the Sith
If you showed your kids any of I-III they'd think you were a moron. Even before they were teenagers I mean.
yes. the amazing thing about "the saga begins" is that it elevates the source material, so that you can actually enjoy it without exhausting all of your wince muscles.
also,aside from the midicholians...
the PLOT of star wars 1 - 3 is awesome. attack of the clones plot was really good especially. just carried out sooooo bad. imagine if a real screen writer and director (and better actors) has a crack at making the prequels. potential to be fantastic. (look how good the clone wars 'toons were)
Trump, DCass, I have no idea what you're talking about. There was nothing that would not make you wince. In other words, everything was wince-worthy. And what plot?
Favorite line, Annaken to Padme (excuse probably spelling errors geeks): "I like your skin. It's smooth and soft. Not harsh and scratchy like the desert."
"excuse probably spelling errors"
but what about the yoda grammar?
If it's a typo, is it a spelling error even if it's a word?
I could claim it's a complex joke but yeah.
