On St. Patrick's Day:
Most of the time, white people consider celebrations of European heritage to be racist unless they omit large swathes of the 16th through 20th centuries. But since the Irish never engaged in colonialism and were actually oppressed it is considered acceptable and encouraged to celebrate their ancestry. For this reason, 100% of white people are proud to claim that they are somewhat Irish. And dozens more things white people like, such as #88 Having Gay Friends, #80 The Idea of Soccer, #4 Assists, and #22 Having Two Last Names.

Name me a celebration of white heritage that is considered racist. I honestly cannot think of any.
I know it's a joke, but the premise sound like BS.
Yeah, me neither. White History Month, anyone?
this site is insanely mean-spirited, even by internet standards. it criticizes people for being proud of doing things like running a marathon.
I think that there is a substantial number of people that think that Thanksgiving is racist or, at least, betrays a certain kind of racial ignorance.
Also, Columbus Day.
Looks like these dudes have some'n to say about all of this:

Columbus Day probably is a bit racist, or at least stupid.
Thanksgiving - I think people are stretching it a lot. It's just a harvest holiday. Is it somehow racist to Native Americans?
